Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 11 June 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all patients receiving treatment at Chancery Dental Group and its associated practices:

  • Chancery Dental Duston

  • Chancery Dental Corby

  • Chancery Dental Thrapston

  • The Dental Centre

By booking an appointment or receiving treatment at any of our practices, you agree to these Terms.

2. About Us

Chancery Dental Group operates multiple dental practices in the UK. Each practice is responsible for the care and treatment of its own patients and may act as an independent data controller.

3. Appointments

  • Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to keep to appointment times, but delays may occur due to clinical needs.

  • If you are late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled.

4. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a fee.

  • Repeated missed appointments may affect your ability to book future treatment.

5. Treatment Planning

  • All treatment is provided based on clinical assessment and informed consent.

  • Treatment plans and estimates are valid for a limited period and may change if clinical conditions change.

  • We will explain all treatment options, risks, and costs before proceeding.

6. Fees and Payment

  • Private treatment fees are payable at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed.

  • NHS charges (where applicable) are set by the NHS and not by the practice.

Failure to pay may result in:

  • Suspension of treatment

  • Referral to debt recovery services where necessary

7. Consent

No treatment will be carried out without your informed consent.

You may withdraw consent at any time, although this may affect ongoing treatment.

8. Patient Responsibilities

Patients are expected to:

  • Attend appointments on time

  • Provide accurate medical and personal information

  • Follow clinical advice and aftercare instructions

  • Inform us of any changes to medical history

9. Medical Information

You must provide full and accurate medical history before treatment.

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect treatment outcomes.

10. Emergency Treatment

We provide emergency dental care where possible during working hours.

Out-of-hours emergencies may be referred to NHS 111 or local emergency dental services.

11. Children and Vulnerable Patients

Where treatment is provided to children or vulnerable adults:

  • Consent will be obtained from a parent, guardian, or legal representative where required

  • Safeguarding obligations will always take priority

12. Liability

We will provide treatment with reasonable skill and care in line with professional standards.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss or damage resulting from failure to follow clinical advice

  • Missed appointments or delays outside our control

  • Pre-existing dental conditions not disclosed to us

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

13. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, please refer to our Complaints Policy.

We are committed to resolving concerns promptly and fairly.

14. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
